Anyone catch this, which premiered over the weekend? I’m a big fan of the book series and I thought the first episode was terrific, and the show looks very promising.

This is one of my favorite book series and I thought it was very well done. Maybe a little more time could have been spent on why Uhtred comes to love the Dane life better than his past life but still was not disappointed. The scene with Beocca whispering to him what his uncle intended to do was well done and I also thought they did well capturing Uhtred’s innate fierceness and willingness to fight.
