Ex-lax does indeed make a fast-acting chocolate flavored chewy. My (now deceased) elderly uncle with alzheimer’s once ate an entire box, mistaking them for regular chocolates. The results were, um, intense. He indeed spent hours pooing. This isn’t what killed him, however.
Most fast-acting laxatives are off the market now, as a few years ago they were linked with cancer. Now there is senna, which is slower. Still, a good dose will work in short order.
