Well, in addition to seeing that the baby wasn’t special in season 1, in season 2 we’ve also seen that Wayne’s hugging power is a bullshit lie. A very nice lie, to be sure, but it’s nothing but the placebo effect.
Tommy is every bit as effective at the hugging power thing as Wayne was. Tommy just can’t live with himself for lying about there being an actual power. Come to think of it, Wayne may not have been able to live with it either. He went downhill fast in season 1, looking about as down on himself when he hugged Nora as Tommy looked this season.
Oh man! What fantastic news!! Final season though? Well, I guess it may prevent it from getting too stale and end on a good note?
I find the Nora character insanely hot, like two full points above what she’d get for sheer physicality.
