The Litter Box Surprise - New and Improved!

Two days ago, I shared with you all a surprising deposit in one of the communal litter boxes – a poop tower standing tall and proud. Unexpected, it was; in all my years of poop-scooping I’d never seen anything like it, nor ever expected to see it again. I thought about photographing it, but decided some things just aren’t meant for sharing.

And then…

This morning when I came downstairs to feed the felines breakfast, I smelled the miasma of a fresh deposit and went to deal with it first…

And behold! A new tower rose above the sandy plain! This time, with outbuildings!

This time, I managed to suppress the gag reflex long enough to snap a few photos before tossing some smell-absorbing litter over it, then scooping and removing the foul edifice to the compost bin. I’ve uploaded them to a Photobucket album, and they’re the three pictures at the end.

What the … thing most resembles, I leave to your imagination; different possibilities spring to mind from different angles.

I can’t imagine how that cat will top this. :dubious: Perhaps it’s better that I not know… :eek:

Yes, I thought so too, although from another angle it looks more like a cobra, and another like a horse lying down.

So many possibilities…

OMG. it is a work of art. Not just the height, but the diameter. It really looks like a dildo.

Max’s poop just lies there like two Slim Jims (the snack, not the car theft tool).

I am afraid your feline may be sick…keep a close watch and find out which one it is…maybe it’s eating extra food…lost any sandwiches lately…that looks like people poop!!!

Thanks for the concern, but if that is, in fact, Peanut’s poop, as I suspect it is, it’s symptomatic of a cat with megacolon who’s on daily laxatives, and who’s also had a new food in the preceding 24 hours.

Most interesting pictures. I like the black dog also.
I managed to see them in the small format before Photo B blocked me and demanded I do this & that. Grrrrr…

Yeh, Photobucket is a really crappy website, and getting crappier over the years.

Kitty is obviously working on “poo-henge,” but you keep removing the uprights before (s)he can add the lintels on top.
