Oh GOD, Polycarp…I KNOW that song! Sang it a lot in church! And now it’s going through my head…damn you!
Although…I always thought “Lord of the Dance” was a stranger song. Singing in a happy voice about being crucified…VERY weird. Made Easter masses amusing.
Falcon – that’s because Lord of teh Dance was an old folk/pagan song that was “transformed” into a church hymn. The tune is teh same, the words have been changed to protect the innocent.
Dancing before the Lord is comming back into a lot of churches worship.
