The Magicians, rewatching

Must be. I just pulled it up on Netflix, again from the United States, and the whole thing is there.

It’s on Amazon here in South Africa.

I love the show. Even Season 5. But I did miss Quentin.

I’ve watched the two first seasons twice, and twice bogged down watching the start of season 3.

The interplay between the normal world and “Not-Narnia” made for some really though-provoking episodes. The cast and design of the world is great. I love the practical effects like the finger-gymnastics they do when spell-casting.

Question:

The least fun is them being kings and queens of Fillory. How big a role is that in the later seasons?

It’s not a permanent situation, let’s just say.

Season 1 done.
I love the almost 4th wall break explaining the invisible castle.

Re how to watch it where you live, I’ve found playpilot.com invaluable for these kinds of questions.

Ehh, I like to watch a series that gets me out of the humdrum of my daily life…

.

But I’ll try it, especially after reading this:

Season 2 episode 9, “Lesser Evils” is their first musical number and quite awesome.

So much going on this episode.

Just watched one of the best episodes, “All That Josh”. Season 3. Culminating is the 8 questors singing Under Pressure.

I just watched the last 2 episodes of season 4. That would have been an all time finale to a series.

Such a good show.

But I know season 5 had some good stuff.
