I still go with my “Nicole is the Mole” theory. And not just because it rhymes. She has had some supsicious behavior- the “two apple” thing last week, and the blinking this week. Also, about halfway into the show, just before the commercial break, when everyone is complaining about losing their journals, you can hear the sound of a baby crying. Nicole is an OB/GYN, part of which involves delivering babies.
Who else thinks the burning of the journals is a trick similar to the burning of the possesions in the first season?
I was thinking about that, whether there might have been some sleight of hand, and the books burned weren’t the real ones. But that would require Alex to be in on the trick, since he collected them from the other players and put them on the table. Right?
I was expecting Kristento be executed tonight for some reason.
I’m a little suspicious that Craig’s health incident may not have been all it seemed to be. He would be a good Mole, because he hasn’t done anything particularly suspicious yet.
But I’m still holding out for Mark, my prime candidate since Ep. 1.
I asked in an earlier thread about how much contact the Mole has with the producers on a daily basis. I’ve been thinking more about that because it seems that the players are usually sharing hotel rooms. This would seem to limit the opportunities that the Mole would have to meet or otherwise communicate with the producers. And if a player happened to catch the Mole making contact, without them noticing, that would pretty much give him/her a lock on the game, right? Has anyone heard anything about this issue?
Well, I’m out. I could have sworn it was Victoria.
I think they should have burned Craig’s journal. It’s not fair that he gets to keep it when the others didn’t.
Commasense, the Mole does have fairly regular contact with the producers, though I think a lot of it occurs during the “confessional” times. They have shown both previous Moles and how they got their info.
They’ve always shared rooms, so the producers find ways to meet privately.
Likewise. There are good arguments for both. Right now I think it’s Clay, but I don’t know why. Could also be Mark, because IMO, being hypercompetitive all the time is a good way to throw people off. Or it could be Alex because he’s always but not quite the top performer in every challenge. Or it could be … yeah, nevermind, I got nuthin’. At this point, I’m not sure I want to figure it out, although I have to admit that I would be strangely disappointed if we find out the Mole is either Paul or Nicole. No idea why.
Man, every week I keep hoping, almost praying (strange, given that I’m an atheist) that Paul will be eliminated, and the little shite stays on. He’s either gonna turn out to be the Mole or win the freaking game just to spite me! I loved how on the second van they ended up singing about how great it was to be Paul-free.
I will say that Kristen was my second choice to get rid of, and I don’t even know why.
