Wow Scott, I am thinking you are spot on with that prediction! I’ll watch it tonight, then check back to see how close you were. The only thing I can add is, aren’t you glad Patrick is gone? He was really starting to annoy me.
Well,
Rob is gone. Truth is, I never really liked him until this episode, so they did a good job redeeming him. He seemed a bit cocky and arrogant, but they all loved him. Stupid editing. Interestingly enough, I was also trying out for the Mole II, am the same age as Rob, similar personality, and live right near him. He stole my spot!!!
Maha- you tried out? Awesome! If you make it for The Mole III, that would be really great. You could throw out references to Cecil and watch the other members sort of stare at you and shrug.
I know scott evil really liked Rob, and I did, too. It sucks that he’s gone; he really added a comical quality to the game. Ah well. C’est la vie.
And now, who is the Mole? Bill made me suspicious, when he couldn’t handle one weight, and he only lasted seven minutes, while Bribs lasted over an hour with about four or five. Bill is a retired navy admiral, and the others were kind of counting on him to go for awhile. I know other people were suspecting him before, so I’m adding him to my list of possible moles. He seems uber sweet, though. Like when he was worried about his mom who was ill.
On an emotional level, I don’t think it’s Al. I know, maybe he’s trying to throw us off, but I just feel like he’s really into the game. Remember him chewing Darwin a new one, over the comment he made about Al participating too much? Personally it just feels like he is really into it, as a player. I will be shocked if it is him, because…he’s Al! But then that’s the point, right?
The mystery of my disappeared OP… Maybe the Mole deleted it…
Anyway,
Bugger bugger bugger bollocks. My boy Rob is gone. I never thought he was the Mole, but was holding out for him making it until the final three. sigh What can you do?
Anyway, my suspects now are Dorothy, Myra, Heather, and Bill. It’s still too early to make a definitive guess. I still hold that Al is too into the game to be the Mole, and that Katie is just, well, too stupid to be the Mole.
If it’s Elavia I’ll scream. She’s being edited to look all mysterious. Way too obvious.
- s.e.
Elavia is HOT, too!!
Well, speaking of hot, does anyone think that about, well…
Anderson? I’m so hot for him! Maybe it’s the authoritarian thing?
Forgot to tadd this to my last post- what would you guys have done, had you been in Heather’s position? I personally wouldn’t have taken the exemption. I know it’s just a game, but leaving two people in cells overnight, especially when they played major roels? I couldn’t live with myself if I did that. Also, are there potential legal problems here? Like if Al or Myra had gotten upset and decided to sue the show for making them stay overnight in cells, that is, if Heather hadn’t freed them?
Same here. Not only to make them sleep in those cells overnight, but to deprive them of talking to their loved ones. Nope, no way I could do it. I’m glad Heather didn’t get executed. It would’ve sucked for her to ‘do the right thing’ and get executed for her efforts.
Wasn’t it cool how Anderson popped up out of nowhere as soon as Heather got out of her cell? Poor Al and Myra, they knew what was coming! Ahh… these exemption offers are always so evil. You have to love them.
OK - so who’s the Mole?
Bill - could be. Really let the gang down when he couldn’t tread water worth a darn!
Dorothy - could be. Tossing her cookies instead of finding and counting the stairs was really gross!
Katie - forgetting about the “g.” What a dope! Especially after poor Bribs nearly drowned after treading water for over an hour!
Heather - seemed to really have a handle on that jail cell game and then didn’t take the exemption so her fellow inmates could get out of jail free. Did she not take the exemption. . . because she really didn’t need it???
Nah! I’m sticking with Myra. I think the Mole is supposed to be subtle and Myra is the most subtle player of the bunch.
And I can’t stand Al. I want him gone. Soon! He is an immature control freak!
I’m suspicious of Dorothy, mostly.
Definitly think Al is too into it to be the Mole, and after Bribs’ treading water for a million years, I don’t think it’s him either.
And I love Al! He seems really nice…what’d he do that made him an immature control freak? (Mind you, I missed the previous ep)
I know it is still an unpopular choice, but I’m sticking with Katie as the mole. She reminds me of a friend of mine who is SO extremely goofy, but is an emergency room nurse and super smart. I could see her being the mole, so I could see Katie being the mole. No way Bribs is the mole. He worked so hard for that challenge. I’m a little more suspicious of Bill because he gave up so early.
And Zoggie, I think Anderson is pretty adorable too.
Al reminds me of Bill Paxton.
Katie looks like she is fond of cheese.
I am convinced Dorothy is the Mole.
He hogs all the games. . . or at least he tried to. And he had a ridiculous hissy fit when Darwin called him on it last night!
I agree with Zoggie on the Anderson thing…especially in this episode, he was funny.
…anyway…
I was wondering something about the pool game. Maybe I didn’t get the rules correct, but it said one player had to be treading water for the game to still be going. Why couldn’t Bill and the other guy get back in when Bribs was getting tired? Was there some rule that said once they left the pool they couldn’t get back in?
Anyway, I don’t think Katie is the mole. The “g” thing seemed like a legitimate error (one that only Katie could have made…I dislike her). And Zoggie, I wouldn’t have taken the exemption unless I knew I was going to fail the test at the end.
I’m not sure about Bill though. He is a retired Navy admiral, but key word is ‘retired’. He’s older than he used to be and maybe not in the same shape he used to be when he swam. Was there another rule that said they had to stay in one place? I was thinking, when he said he could have done it had he been able to move around, that he should have moved around, then.
I was sorry to see Rob go too, though I did start to worry when they showed him doing magic tricks at the table.
I wondered the same thing about the pool challenge **Caesar’s Ghost **. Anderson did say that only one person had to be treading water at a given time, but I took it to mean they had to be in the pool and possibly floating on backs or whatever, not necessarily treading water unless they were the person holding the weights. I was a little disappointed with how hard Darwin tried in the pool, because he has pretty much been middle of the road suspect wise. Not a lot of screen time, so I had grouped him with Myra as someone who is a good candidate for being the Mole.
As far as Heather passing on the exemption, the part that surprised me, was that she believed that the other players wouldn’t have had the chance to speak with their loved ones. I really doubt that would have happened, they said the same thing last year, and then Jennifer and Kathy ended up being allowed to speak/see their loved one’s anyhow.
I also have a questionable spoiler about the telegram:
If the numbers are read at the bottom of the telegram with the zeros taken out, and then assigned the letters of a telephone keypad, they read “the mole is bill”. Although this seems like a huge spoiler (if it isn’t a red herring), I find it dubious, as Patrick spent so much time with the telegram and probably figured this out. Didn’t seem to help him much.
Yeah, I did try out. You learn a few things about the show that way. I knew it would be in Europe again and they told us they were looking for 13 this time instead of 9(which is what they had for Mole 1).
I even tried out for being the Mole. Everyone who tries out gets a chance if they want it to play the Mole.
A lot of times, the questions on the quiz come from questions the contestants were asked before they got the position. Last night, they asked each contestant considered themselves high or low maintainence. This was a question all of us were asked(I said “low” for myself).
I’m leaning towards Dorothy as the Mole at the moment. Katie has mentioned a few times during the quiz that she is suspicious of Dorothy. If she’s putting Dorothy answers down and is still in the game then it would imply that Dorothy is the Mole.
Or, Katie is the Mole and trying to throw suspicion on Dorothy. I still find “Meadow Muffin” a bit suspicious.
