I know I shouldn’t ask, but I will anyway; Who do they think put the glass shield(s) there and to what purpose?
I was just exposed to a CT over on FB, where several FOAFs are insisting that fluoridation is a conspiracy between the aluminum companies (who want to make money) and the government (who wants to keep us docile or kill us, I’m not sure which). When I pointed out that the only way to get a fatal dose of sodium fluoride by drinking water was to ingest about 200 gallons of water in one sitting and that you’d drown in your own tissues before you could do that, I was told that I didn’t know what I was talking about and I should read the article. Which was mainly a list of who had used sodium fluoride to kill or control populations, a couple of reports by CTers, and some youtube videos, also by CTers (I didn’t bother watching those).
There are a whole lot of people out there who can’t seem to think critically, and would rather accept the word of a self-proclaimed expert than a scientist. Once I saw their responses, I gave up. Some people won’t be educated, and I have neither the time nor inclination to do it (especially on FB). From now on, I’m hiding my friend’s CT stories.
A lot of people prefer that things be “magical” than understand how they work. I once explained to a friend how a phenomenon worked and he complained that I ruined it since it was no longer “magical.”
