Not sure if this oversight just went unspotted or what, but the death penalty is vastly more expensive to carry out than a life sentence.
I realize. Endless appeals and such.
And frankly, I’m not a huge believer in the death penalty anyway…but some cases just call out for it. And this is one.
What the fuck is with “acting on a tip”?! That means someone suspected there was a body out there but never said anything. Until that moment.

Just noticed an ad at the bottom for sex offenders. Wonder when people like this will have to let us know where they are. I’d kinda like to know if they ever became my neighbors.
All I know for sure is that when I went in for jury duty in a Commonwealth criminal case earlier this year, we were told that we don’t need to concern ourselves with possibly sending someone to death because they don’t do that anymore.
