It appears that the mouseover time has been significantly lengthened. I’m a fairly fast reader, and I always got almost to the end - usually had to re-mouse for the last couple words. Now, I can read at my leisure, and IT’S STILL VISIBLE!
Whoo! Life is good!
(This is the part where everyone comes in and tells me it’s been like that for the last six months, and where was I?)
Actually, I don’t think it has anything to do with the SDMB or vBulletin. It all takes place in your browser, so something changed there.
It’s still 5 seconds for me. Too short for me, too.
I almost never can read the little box before it disappears. Is there a setting which will make it last longer for my computer?
Oh. Well, in that case, what do I do to get it to stay like this (since I didn’t actually do anything to get it like this)? What a luxury, being able to read the whole mouse-over.
Don’t! Miss! Extreme Mouse-overs, Saturday night on FOX!
If you’re using Internet Explorer the mouseover box will stay up indefinitely so long as you move the mouse slightly before it disappears.
Keep the pointer within the area that triggers that mouseover and just move it slightly every few seconds. You can keep it onscreen for as long as you need to read it all then.
