We haven’t used Gene Hackman yet?
Okay. Gene Hackman.
(NP, twickster, it’s been one of those weeks

The Royal Tenenbaums (please tell me this hasn’t been used…)
Okay, I’m confused:
Chastain86 responded to “Brittany Murphy” with Span.
Rubystreak’s response was “Mena Suvari”.
Anyanka replied with American Beauty.
Maureen rejected that, but posted Span about four hours after that film had been named by Chastain86. So to my thinking, Suvari was the last “legal move”. If that’s the case, my response is Slums of Beverly Hills. If too much time has passed to correct the error, I’ll follow The Royal Tenenbaums (assuming it hasn’t been used yet) with the hopefully-permissible Anjelica Huston.
If I didn’t need to get some sleep, I’d spend the next couple of hours making an alphabetical list of all the movies and actors who are out of play…
I disagree.
It was Drive–>Brittany Murphy → Mena Suvari -->American Beauty(buzz)
Mena Suvari → Spun → Mickey Rourke -->Angel Heart → Lisa Bonet–>Gene Hackman–>The Royal Tenenbaums–>Anjelica Houston.
To which I will respond: Prizzi’s Honor
Except we already had Gene Hackman back on page 4.
We can always change
Enemy of the State–>Gene Hackman–>The Royal Tenenbaums
to
Enemy of the State–>Loren Dean–>Plain Clothes–>Seymour Cassel–>The Royal Tenenbaums–>Anjelica Houston->Prizzi’s Honor
to keep the current chain going
To which I say Jack Nicholson, and you guys are awesome in your ability to keep this all straight. Sorry about repeating Mena Suvari.
The Raven
Waaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiit just a cotton-pickin’ minute. Sternvogel was right, I was wrong (didn’t read the post carefully enough).
We had Kadeem Hardison(cbawlmer)
Drive (Evil Death)
Brittany Murphy (Sternvogel)
Spun(Chastain86)
Mena Suvari (Rubystreak), which led to Anyanka’s American Beauty buzz
We then had Spun (Maureen) which SHOULD have been a buzz.
That means that still in play are:
*Annette Benning
Lisa Bonet
Seymour Cassel
Loren Dean
Anjelica Huston
Jack Nicholson (really?!?)
Mickey Rourke
*
as well as:
Angel Heart
Enemy of the State
Plain Clothes
The Raven
The Royal Tenenbaums
The last valid response was Sternvogel’s
Slums of Beverly Hills
to which I will reply:
Alan Arkin
Alan Arkin
Catch-22
American Pie II, along with American Pie (as per the rules laid out on page 1; how about American Wedding?) are also still in play.
OH, CRAP!
that actually means American Pie II was the last valid response, not Slums of Beverly Hills.
OK still in play are:
Slums of Beverly Hills
Alan Arkin
along with the other stuff above.
Out of play is:
American Pie (I’ll let bordelond rule on American Wedding.)
My response to American Pie II is:
Natasha Lyonne
which will get us back to Slums of Beverly Hills and Alan Arkin if someone posts them right now
Slums of Beverly Hills - I am so good.
Thanks!
Alan Arkin
Don’t Look Now
Alan Arkin wasn’t in Don’t Look Now . You’re thinking of Donald Sutherland (or, less likely, Julie Christie)
OMG, I can’t believe I screwed up the whole damn thread. I’m sorry. Thanks, scotandrsn for fixing it.
Evil Death, was Alan Arkin in Don’t Look Now? I don’t see him credited.
Oh come on, you’ve never confused Alan Arkin and Julie Christie?
It was all those *Emanuelle * movies. Alan Arkin has such great legs.
No, I’m confusing my movie titles. I am, of course, thinking of Wait Until Dark.
Oh, and since nobody’s advanced the game since my error: Wait Until Dark.
And if anyone needs me, I’ll be in the corner looking embarrassed.
