Here’s how I think we should go about this…if a sequel or prequel has a significantly different cast (and thus opens up more actors), than I say go ahead. But obviously separately using all three Lord of the Rings movies, or the like, is out.
As for Men in Black specifically, I don’t really know who’s in them, so you’ll have to make the call.

If I were the judge I’d say that all three LotR movies stand on their own, even though technically they comprise a trilogy. Definitely not a sequel in the sense of Lethal Weapon made a ton of money, why not make a Lethal Weapon 2?
Is Men in Black currently in play? There are a few actors in there, but I’m checking before I go search the thread.

Sorry, I’m not offended, it’s just an observation. There is a chat room associated with this place somewhere. And there is definitely a chatty elements in parts here. But we mostly think it’s a little more of this. And we’re also generally very gentle on newbies, so don’t take anything the wrong way.
