The Movie Game

A Thousand Acres

What a terrible movie that was!

The book wasn’t a whole lot better.

Colin Firth

The Bridget Jones Diary (not bad for a chick flick)

Oh, and “dittoes” on Big Fish and especially Jessica Lange. She shows that age and beauty can go hand in hand. I hope she’s wonderful like that in real life.

Harry Hamlin

Damn, I’m sure he’s been in something besides Clash of the Titans or L.A. Law, but I sure as heck haven’t seen it.

Oh, I have. He was in *Movie, Movie * all the way back in 1978.

cbawlmer to the rescue.

George Burns was barely in it.

I saw *Movie, Movie * several years ago because Barry Bostwick is soooo dreamy. :stuck_out_tongue: Also, it’s a fun little movie. Hooray for the musical-slash-boxing movie genre!

Hardcore

I’m stepping in to make an adjudication. Movie, Movie was played twice (it looks as if it was inadvertent). Original play was in response to Harry Hamlin in Clash of the Titans. Maureen posted George Burns.

So the current play is

George Burns.

I have a nice play off that doesn’t involve any John Denver related movies, but will defer to a post from the crowd.

Oh, you’re right, sorry.
