The Movie-Link Game

A Hard Day’s Night

I think that’s also a repeat, but the “search thread” function crapped out on me. I searched under “horse” but not under “horses” before posting They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?

If you use the reply button at the bottom right of the post you want to reply to (which is where I am as I type this) just above the typing area is an icon that looks like a globe (blue circle with some do-flichy in front of it, next to the envelope-looking one).

First go to the website you want to link to, highlight and copy yhe URL in the Address window of your browser (assuming it’s IE browser), then when you’re in this “Reply To Thread” zone, click that globe do-funny and type in whatever you want to say about the link and click OK then when it comes back with the “http//” thing highlighted put your cursor on the highlight, right click, and then Paste the URL there.

That adds all the codes for you.

Breaking Away

Aside to Marque Elf: You can also just hit “reply” to a post with links and then look at the coding there.

Breaking the Rules

I knew there had to be a simpler way to explain it! Thanks

Breaking the Waves

The way you described is a bit harder to describe, but easier (sort of) to do. I just want him/her to be able to see what the code looks like. Also, as a general rule, you can find stuff about this in About This Message Board, although sometimes one must dig a bit.
