*Dancing out on seventh street
Dancing through the underground
Dancing little marionette
Are you happy now?
Where do you go when you’re lonely?
Where do you go when you’re blue?
Where do you go when you’re lonely? …I’ll follow you
When the stars go blue*
This song has been running through my head for a while now. I guess it’s one of those “moment” songs - it captures how you’re feeling at a given moment, so you listen to it over and over and over, as I have been with this one… it’s a good thing that the Corrs cover I’ve been listening to is so good, I suppose.
Lalalala…
Sigh.
This post doesn’t have any real point, I guess. I just felt like saying it. Move along, nothing to see here…
*Roland searched the continent,
for the man who’d done him in.
He found him in Mombassa,
in a barroom drinkin’ gin.
Roland aimed his Thompson gun;
he didn’t say a word,
but he blew Van Owen’s body,
from there to Johannesburg.
I’ve got “Crazy Train” playing in my head over and over and over. The thing is, it isn’t Ozzy’s version… it’s the one they play on the opening credits of The Osbournes.
*It’s not like you to say sorry, I was waiting on a different story
This time I’m mistaken for handing you a heart worth breaking
I’ve been wrong, I’ve been down, been to the bottom of every bottle
These five words in my head scream “are we having fun yet?”
All I can be
Is a busy sea
Of spinning wheels
And hands that feel
For stones to throw
And feet that run
But come back home
It makes no difference
Ever known to me
But if I could
You know I would
Just hold your hand
And you’d understand
I’m the man who loves you
