The Mysterious case of the Creepy Pumpkin that spoke

About neutered male cats. We have two. There is Harper, he’s my cat. I adopted him as a young full grown cat. We had him neutered etc. but as stated he was an adult. My son’s cat, Spring Heal Jack, was neutered as a kitten. My son’s girlfriend has a, so far, unaltered female, Veronica. So when she goes into heat Harper tries to be accomodating. I don’t know if he’s ever successful, I’m not that nosy. If he isn’t successful, it’s not fromthe lack of trying. Spring Heal? Not so much. He has no idea what she’s going on about, and is totally offended when she sticks her hiney in his face. He seems to hate her, and stalks off to hide somewhere. When she yodels it sounds like: “hurowww?” “Hehrow?” With the question marks.

The vet clipped her teeny tiny nails.
She sharpened them right up, immediately.

The big fun thing was a sort of bath this morning.
Bowl of warm water a grooming glove and another pair of hands. Mostly the rear end, belly and face. Applied the eye medicine. A bit of howling and rubbing her face.
In the towel and and fell asleep while I was drying her. So cute!

Checked her ears. I detect ear mites. So that medicine was added and massaged. She never woke up.

Very surprised she didn’t have fleas. She’s too young for the flea meds. I suspect the vet would have done it anyway if they had seen them because she’s so undersized.
Her gums look pink. So no anemia.

i believe he was saying good night to the wee smut.

she will be quite the addition to the family.

y’all would have seen fleas during the bath.

Aww. Bayliss is a very nice dog. He may have been doing just that.

He’s been very curious about Smut today.

He is a helper pup.

He a nosy dog today.
As is other critters.

I heard a tiny hiss. I looked over. Bear the Siamese was peering over the edge of the box. I’m sure the fishy smell emanating attracted him.

Smut sez “nope”

I told Bear to cease and desist. Got a loud “merrrggghhOh” for my answer.
