I met this insanely hot Russian girl in New York and while talking to her, she told me her favorite class in high school (she was 18…don’t start) was shooting. I asked her what they shot in her shooting class and in her broken English she seemed to be describing, predictably, an AK-47. I pulled up a picture of one on my laptop and asked her if that was the gun she was talking about, she said yes and smiled with great joy.
Is this true, or was she just playing head games with the stupid American? Do they actually have shooting classes in Russian high schools?
I know a hot Russian woman (coincidentally, in New York) who once told me that when she was a girl (eight years old or 12 years old, I don’t remember – but I think it was eight) they were firing AK-47s from the prone position and the boys were trying to look up their skirts.
I had a shooting class in High School. This is Florida, circa 1997. The class was officially “Criminal Justice”. It was a two period block class, and about once a week we would go to the gun range for that 2 hours and shoot. We also had a FATS II loaded with shoot/dont shoot scenarios in the large room attached to the classroom!! Pretty freaking sweet for a high school class. It fell into the high school Florida Public Service Association or something like that. There was a state competition and everything.
I wouldn’t say we should make the training mandatory in high school. But certainly offer it. It could be like driver’s ed. Take the training in high school and you dont have to do it later.
