I have two places holding rooms and I’m still waiting to hear from a third. The email I sent out lists everyone that has told me that they need a room, so I need to know any changes before I confirm.

Just wanted to remind everyone to make their hotel reservations tomorrow - the details are in the email I sent out yesterday. I think I finally got everyone added, but if you did NOT receive that mail let me know right away.
As far as the bar goes, I’m going to figure that out now that the hotel is squared away. I’m thinking of possibly finding a place off the Blue Line (think Wicker Park), so that everyone can take the El back to the hotel together and no one will have to drive. Of course, it’s going to have to be a place that doesn’t get too crowded on a Saturday night, so that might be a asking too much. I would love any suggestions, and this weekend I hope to go out in search of the perfect bar.

Damn. So close yet so far. My weekends aren’t all that free, as much as I’d like to meet y’all. Any chance any Chi folk would like to do a liquid lunch downtown sometime? Maybe the 20th, as a primer for the big event?
