The new song-lyrics-sentence game!

At least, I hope it’s new.

My girlfriend, in her continuing quest to give depth to my appreciation of music, recently made me another mix CD, courtesy of iTunes. (Hey, Apple! That’s an endorsement! How many downloads do I get?)

Anyway, in looking down the list of song titles, I realized that some of them could be combined into sentences. Here’s an example, using two of her titles plus one from the King:

This is the last time [Keane] I turn my camera on [Spoon] in the ghetto [Elvis].

How about:

As far as I know [Paul Westerburg], I can’t explain [the Who] things I don’t understand [Coldplay].

Anybody else want to try? Or is everybody still playing Madden 2005?

Well, The Beatles did it on the White Album:

“Why don’t we do it in the road? I will, Julia!”
