No, I’m not having a laugh. There’s nothing funny about it. I don’t like fantasy, I hate Zelda, I hate cartoony Mario type shit - Resident Evil and GTA and Metal Gear Solid are unrealistic in theory, but they are fairly realistic in terms of how the gameplay world is executed in the game. That’s what I’m trying to say, is I don’t want a game that’s full of fun and joy and bright shiny colors. I hate Super Smash Brothers, I think it’s horseshit. I hate “party games.” The games I like are games that try to provide a virtual experience that is similar to reality, not a happy-happy-fun-time. Like in Metal Gear Solid 3, how you can talk to Sigint on the radio and have him tell you the actual real-life history, and mechanical operation, of all of the guns in the game, and you can call Para-Medic and she will tell you about every single kind of animal that you can catch, and what region of the world it originates from, and stuff like that.
I agree about the boring gray and brown colors, I hate that shit. I wish they’d make games that were more colorful.
