I made one of these not too long ago and it was nice…but there just weren’t that many people into it. Maybe about 3 or 4 (including myself) regular contributors to it.
I think that it was mainly because of the way it was. In story form, and thus a turn off to a lot of people who aren’t keen on writing storylines (or feeling lazy, like story writing–at least for me–quickly makes me feel. :p).
SO…here’s another shot at it…but without a story. Rather, this is just like a regular topic with a subject. It’s also a game of sorts.
The topics of this threads are dependant on the members here…and I’m sure you’ll find THIS CYOD thread to be wayyyyyyyy easier. Far more easier. Cause each post doesn’t ruin or isn’t dependant on the rest of the thread.
Really, as you’ll soon catch on and see, this thread can really have unlimited posibilities and can go many, many, many ways.
The only tricky part to it is, as the last one, you need to stay observant and notice when a post is coming up that you need to write about.
Okayyyyyy …So…here we go…
What you do is make a post and at the end of every one, you give two (or more, but try to keep it at 2 or 3) choices to go to other posts in this thread (like post number 23 in here, or post number 47 in here). The subject of discussion can BE about anything you want, but it must give the choice to two other posts in here. And try, at least, to be realisitic. I doubt this topic will have a post 300,000.
THEN, when those posts are reached, whoever has that reply must talk about that subject (and somehow lead it around to talking about a new subject or a subject LIKE it) and say to go to two or more new posts (or posts that were already posted if you can work it out that way)
And finally, the preview button in this is very important. Want to try to avoid as many postings at the same time as possible.

I love meat, do you? Meat is good. Beef is delish. Pork is wonderful…and don’t even get me started on Chicken.
However, if you’re a veggie-tarian…go discuss that in post 23 of this thread.
If you don’t want to talk about food, but about Aliens, go to post 16 of this thread.
If you are lost and confused, talk about what you’re doing online in the first, then by all means, go to post 5 and tell us about it.
