The NYC biker gang beat down

And deep snow is no comparison to running over machinery. I’m sort of stunned that the RR made it over one with out getting hung up.

That’d be a smart idea for a new RR commercial. “Forget mountains and streams you’ll never visit now that they’re closed; you need a man’s urban Rover! Problems with the local bike gang? It comes with a specially designed cow catcher on front along with our patented reinforced teflon undercarriage so you can take those pesky handlebars, exhaust pipes and assorted human body parts in stride! Tire guards and bullet proofing optional.”

He got some traction on the soft squishy parts.

Traction control doesn’t compare with lockers, but even then it can be remarkably good.

Dropping in to make my regular suggestion that all drivers purchase dash cameras. Was in a fender bender just last week in my work truck - all arguments about ‘who did what’ ended when I pointed at the camera.

In this case any arguments about what the family saw and how the bikers behaved from their perspective would be answered.

At $80 for a good camera on eBay it’s insurance that I am shocked more people have not invested in.

Various examples from my camera.

Maybe they can add something like this.

Wouldn’t the vehicle get traction on the heavy bikes and people themselves? I mean, if they spin on the people that kind of accomplishes the goal. I was thinking that as long as the tires on on a surface it would move the vehicle and what would hang you up would be if you were on the top of a teeter totter of assholes.

I loved that ride! Why did Disney World have to shut it down?

YES. They arrested the cop who not only didn’t do anything to stop the crime, but actually participated in the crime then lied about it.

Of course that is only because of the video evidence, if not for that the cops lies to cover his criminal behavior would’ve been taken at face value.

I love it.

Nah, They’d domino over and make nice roadway. The bodies would fill in the gaps nicely.

The best maneuver would be to swerve back and forth and knock the bikes over as they try to pass.

Lying about his participation in the attack on the driver? His testimony in future cases will be severely compromised, and previous cases that turned on his testimony will be re-opened. I hope the don’t just shuffle him into a staff support job, and instead fire his ass.

And of course nail him on criminal charges for gang assault etc.

The Facebook page “Justice for Jay’” in support of the biker who was run over is pretty funny. I don’t think it turned out the way they had hoped.

Although I’m staunchly pro-gun, I agree that guns would not have been practical for the victim of this crime.

However, it’s hard not to imagine the following twist to this incident:

Instead of menacing Mr. Lien and his family, the gang chooses a lone motorist driving a shabby old sedan. Departing from the initial stop, the motorist gets a modest lead on the pursuing bikers. He skids the car to a stop, spinning it 180 degrees so that it’s facing his oncoming assailants. He gets out and walks to the back just as they start to arrive.

“Whaddaya gonna do NOW, SHITHEAD?”

The motorist, one Walter White of Albuquerque, NM, raises the trunk lid and smiles.

I want. Do you have a brand or model recommendation?

Gloria Allred’s representing the guy in the hospital. She say s he was just trying to defuse the situation, that he’s the victim. When asked about his driving without a license and motorcycle permit, she says he wasn’t driving at the time he was hit, so that really doesn’t count. He’s a great guy who was only trying to help.

StG

So you are that news guy?

Glora Allred needs to find her way under an SUV.

I’m curious as to the lyrics of raps. I expect that sooner or later someone will put a transcription up on the net.

Like this (- Jay Meezee (From his track It’s Nuttin.):(audio plays directly, skip to 1:10

Thanks, Bone. Why do those lyrics by the human speed bump not surprise me.

Some folks here are saying that for the guy who got hospitalized, it wasn’t a punishment that fit the crime. This is correct. What happened to him wasn’t a punishment, it was a consequence, and it was delivered by the laws of nature, not by the laws of Man. When you do stupid things like slamming on the brakes in front of a massive fast-moving vehicle, sooner or later, you’re going to get hurt.
