“The October Witch” is a fine, creepy short story by Francesca Forrest. The Podcastlepodcast published an excellent of reading of this story in October 2013.
I clearly recall that I also saw a short film adaptation (probably someone’s senior project) of this story on TV within the past few months. I’m trying to find more information on the film adaptation, but I’m not finding anything.
Can someone help me out? If I’m not simply hallucinating, it would most likely have been on PBS (WTTW 11 in Chicago).
