The Office - 4/11 - Stairmageddon

See, the problem is her saying “no” in the first place. That is horribly selfish and short sighted.

They had a long discussion off-screen where Jim asked to do Athlead part-time and in Scranton. This was before any of the Athlead people or Pam had any idea it could even be a full-time thing. Her saying no, when it would have been more or less a hobby for Jim, is where Pam was wrong.

After it became big, they had another discussion and Pam agreed to let Jim work at Athlead full-time.

Your post shows that I’m not crazy and my memory works correctly so I am grateful to you.

Don’t want to start a new thread…
but do want to be the first one to say that Jim and Pam’s embrace at the end of last night’s episode was lame.

The back and forth that came out of the skills learned at counseling was pretty good though.
Thanks for the spoiler though. Get a fucking clue.

Cool it: this isn’t the Pit. And What the … !!!, you should’ve started a new thread. People reading this thread weren’t expecting spoilers for an episode that aired two weeks later. That was inconsiderate.

Good point … I didn’t consider that at all. Very sorry. OTOH … that really wasn’t much of a spoiler was it?

I’m a bit behind (just watched Stairmagaddeon and I have a couple more to go to finish off the series) and I wasn’t expecting there to be a spoiler for future episodes in THIS thread either. But that wasn’t really a spoiler anyway.

Anyway, I’m only reviving this because the spoiler reminded me of another question I kept thinking that was hopefully answered somewhere - why the heck did they change the opening credits to show that scene of Pam & Jim kissing every week now? Are they trying to remind us that YES, those two actually ARE a couple?
