I had a brainstorm, while reading the replies to my thread concerning my singles ad.
Why not have an official SDMB bachelor/bachelorette auction at a Dopefest, and the proceeds thereof, sent to the Wally M7 fund? It would be a lot of fun, be for a good cause, and who knows, a few Dope love connections may even happen out of it. What about it people? I volunteer as first bachelor!
And what exactly does our WallyM7 fund do, pay trollhunters and the like?
Why was I not informed of its existence?
Yeah, um, I’m out. Seems like trying waaaaaaay too hard.
Could we auction something else? And what’s this fund I hear about? Does it buy BEER?
