It’s the “welcome home” thing. It’s a nice sunny day - bit cool though - and there was quite a large crowd cheering.
I did my usual thing and got trapped on the wrong side of George Street for that one. I had a look around to see who was handing out the rotting fruit to throw at them, but the only place I could find was the kiosk in Farrer Place that wanted the usual, extortionate rates for rancid mandarines.
Seriously? They underperform that badly and still have the gall to have a parade rather than being whipped through the street in stocks and irons?
