The Omnibus Trump Pit Thread

I understand you’re too busy trying to attach a paper-towel tube to The Trump’s rump to actually read what other people post, but you might want to read how Donald couldn’t answer a question that a 9th grade social-studies student could address about basic nuclear policy. He didn’t even know what the nuclear triad was.

Rather than continue to embarrass yourself here, why don’t you go back to defending kiddie rapists?

Despite the fact that you’re sensible when it comes to voting for presidents, it’s fun to note you’re as wrong about Trump’s hair as you are about his intelligence and ability.

I can always tell when I’m scoring major points that you bozos can’t refute when you start dragging out the fiction of my alleged kiddie rapist facilitation.

Give it a rest, you look stupid enough as it is.

I think I asked this in this or the other Trump thread and didn’t get an answer. What policy proposals has Trump made that you especially support? What specific goals has he described which you agree are good for the country?

Looks like he’s meeting a Klingon.

I’m waiting to see what they are.

What I think would make him good for the country is his intelligence, his savviness, his business and negotiating acumen, the quality of the people he surrounds himself with, and his refusal to kowtow to political correctness - a bullying cancer that’s ruining the country, destroying free speech, and pitting everyone against each other…sometimes even liberal against liberal, these days.

And of course the fact that he’s at least nominally Republican and a guy who knows how to get things done.

I knew that pic would get a response.

But at least it shows he’s not wearing a toupee.

He’s been running for a while now, and he was recently in a debate where he got the most air time of all the participants, and he has made no policy proposals and laid out no goals for his administration? What do you figure he’s waiting for?

So the alien creature has integrated itself into his scalp.

Or Trump is a growth on it’s ass.

I do not think guys like Trump are stupid in matters of trading and “street smarts”, but no one is an expert on everything and we really do have a problem when we get leaders that do think that they know everything.

Trump only needs to fool the reactionaries, tea partiers and xenophobes into just sounding a little like them to get their support, and with the current Republican party it is clear that they are a force that has grown and it is pushing independents and moderate republicans to finally understand that very unsavory groups are taking over the driving seat in the clown car. I do know Fenris and seeing Starving Artist calling him a “mindless partisan” is really dumb, unless Starving also does think that many Republicans are mindless. :stuck_out_tongue:

Insults like that will cause many in the radicalized peanut gallery to cheer, but the reality is that this only shows to me that moderate and old fashion republicans are finally noticing how loopy a good chunk of the republican base is actually turning out to be.

I do think Nate Silver and other pollsters are correct in the long run, Trump will not be able to keep this up, (but I do suspect he could go far and I do wish he will be Republican candidate and be easily defeated, after all I’m not a “mindless partisan” Republican). Many Republicans are indeed getting worried that before Trump is finished he will damage the Grand Old Party in a big way.

Don’t have a problem seeing the Republicans tearing each other apart; but really, the nation is better when we demand more capable leaders, not just capable misleaders.

I’m getting a kick out of imagining the look of wide-eyed wonder on the face of the person right in front of him.

I think you may be on to something there. Trump has always looked a bit like a hemorrhoid.

Waitaminnit ! – In this Internet Age, you can find jackasses of all political persuasions hurling scat like that in all directions. But a candidate for president?

Did any candidate for president (or any other significant political office) talk shit like that about Palin & family?

Trump’s a candidate for president. And even before he was a candidate, when he said a lot of that shit, he has obviously been talking about running for president for a long time, and even before that, he apparently said a lot of nasty stuff about women even in places where he should have been behaving more professionally. (Like in that deposition where he called a woman “disgusting” when she wanted to step out to pump.)

Any troll on the YouTube comments can say stuff like that. Trump wasn’t just trolling on some Internet comments section when he said his stuff like that.

(ETA: Basically, ninja’d by Kobal2 way back in post #250.)

That’s the question with so many of these Republicans. Are they really so sexist/racist/xenophobic/homophobic? Or are they just dumbasses?

Either way, they don’t deserve anyone’s votes.

Given Starving’s long posting history here, it’s amusing but not surprising to see that Trump is His Guy. Explains a lot about Trump’s base.

Oh, I wish I DIDN’T believe he is in the early stages of senile dementia - if he was just a bloviating asshat it would be so much easier to point and laugh and mock without guilt.

But he is reminding me of another real estate mogul - another Donald, even -who slipped into senility in a public and embarrassing way - Donald Sterling. It’s something in the affect that feels the same.

Well, of course! SA has always longed for the more polite era of the 50, when everyone was treated with so much respect and before darkies had to go ruin it by getting uppity.

And who better to represent a bygone era of decorum than Donald Trump? WHO?

I’m pretty sure the Donald passed some kind of test involving tubes that prove he couldn’t have said what he was accused of.

Tubes, or not tubes, that is the question…

Some guy he talked to at the border said the test was valid and that’s all he needed to know.
