The one-syllable thread

Fail!

D’OH!! :frowning:

The Mid East bad guy? If so: yeah, he got a new home with a worse guy, I guess. Cold for him there, though.

Up in dark; not yet dawn. Read Dope. Drink hot brown stuff with cream: yum. Bathe, drive, feed, then shop for wood pulp sheets and more cream. Back to home, shed most clothes, lay in warm noon sun for tan not burn. Make hot date for Fri night: first jazz then …

Soon to feed more then waste more of day. See half moon rise in sky up from sea; so nice.

Cheers!

Day 'fore this one - in real late, drove in bad wet stuff & took cool, Dec pix. Short sleep. got up, clear white from car park. check gov pubs; curse N J folk who look up, no fly {sniff} went out , came home, short nap & run 'fore dark. Went to food store, spent a lot. Eat, beer, bed

I like “ere dark” though “ere this day” works less well.

I still feel sick.
That blah feel.
Rest and drink.

Ugh. We are both sick. Cough, cough, sneeze. So much for help from our masks. (Yeah, thanks, jerks who don’t wear masks on planes while ill.) Could be worse–we could be dead, I guess. So we are stuck at home. Bleh.

Jet lag blows ass; I did not sleep good at all last night, or most nights this past week. I am way tired now.

Glad that the man in charge of this land gave me the third day of this week off; two days off in a row will be quite nice. I hope I can sleep more soon.

</one-syllable mode>

Next week start the same thread, except require only two-syllable words.

At this rate, Week Five will be tough!

“Snow” is one sound too.

I drove to town to get blood draw. While there I went to stores. Stores had lots of folk. Glad I went, there will be yet more folk next day.

The cat next to me wants (and gets) pats. I need lunch; could have no food this morn till blood draw.

– my dog barks! I need to let the dog in.

So it is.

I too gave blood day 'fore this one as good deed for day. In maul. weird place for it but gave there 'fore. Last time (there) as will not be here next year this time. They gave hat & two sock; I no need. Last year they gave tix to see puck game on ice; twas fun but my team lost.
Went to maul to walk in warm (twas Brrrr cold out) & watch people not to buy so it was fun as no stress or strain to shop. Even found park spot in not too long time near go in door so no freeze in lot.

I feel me talk like Grog, man of cave, for this post.

Me and I are both one sound, too.

My blood draw was not a good deed; it was just to check my meds are still right. They have to check now and then. But I took some veg to the free food place last week for a good deed.

I add this: “maul” I think is a good name for those things.

Must hall walk. With wife. Count steps.

The boy will be here in not long, down from The Smoke for the big day!
