I had to help do set up for a friend’s kid’s wedding this weekend(Who the heck gets married during hockey season?:dubious:). It was 70 on Thursday. It will be 70 today. It was 35 during the (outside) rehersal dinner on Saturday.:smack:
First! It’s good to be juvenile!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 68 Amurrkin out which will also be the high for the day. I understand “Sybil” weather all too well doggio. Tonight’s low will be 29 with highs in the 40s-50s for the week. Also, today is supposed to be stormy. Not so far, so we shall see.
Ok that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, 'tis Moanday, so alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Tonight is men’s night over to the churchhouse so I have that to look forward to at least.
Happy Moanday Y’all!
Today’s forecast high in Ocala: 78° with rain
Tomorrow: 57° with sun
Weds (back home in southern Merrylande): 39° - doesn’t matter if it’s sunny or not - it’ll be cold!!
Less Sybil, more Psycho!! Plus stoopit dog got me up stoopit early after a stoopit night of not much sleep. I was nodding off during the evening, but the moment I was under the covers with the lights out, my brain was going a bazillion miles a minute. Stoopit brain.
Let the week begin! Happy Moanday!
Blurf, y’all.
Afternoon, mumpers! I have been a bit MIA recently, work has been crazily busy and we’ve had a bunch of jobs with ridiculous deadlines imposed on us so it’s been hard trying to keep up with it all.
Weather over here is unseasonably warm, or so they keep telling us. I was in Glasgow on Friday evening, sitting outside the pub, in November. In Scotland! Unheard of!
Quite a bit of snow on the ground here.
Aaaand I’m putting off writing an important email. Well, back to it I suppose.
::sticks toe in MMP::
Hi! My first MMP post :o
The alarm dog woke me at 6
I’ve checked news and weather
Here, in my part of CT, it is high 30’s with rain, rain and more rain.
All my chores are done
Guess I’ll goof off as usual
Welcome, CT_Damsel. From now on, your Delta Tau Mumper name will be Distress.
If you [del]know what’s good for you[/del] wish to remain in our good graces, send the guys beer & the wimen chocolate.
Other than that, it’s a rainy Moanday.
It’s rainy and cold here in the high country. I’m waiting until 10 so I can go to the library and Target. Such an exciting life I lead.
I would be happy for a reprieve of 70F. It’s currently 40F here and the expected high is only 43F, so it’s about as good as it gets.
Another exciting day at CasaRed. I’ll be glad when I’m good enough to go back to irk (no, the sky isn’t falling ).
Thank you
Humbly,
your Distress
Still waiting for them to get me a rental car.
Blurf. It’s Moansday, it’s cloudy, and I have a doctor’s appointment later. IOW, blurf.
See Rosie’s sig.
November in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere would seem like a poor time to hold such an event outdoors, wouldn’t it?
Slept very poorly last night (anxiety problems).
Welcome to the madness.
FairyChatMom also has an alarm dog, I have an alarm cat.
I just figured out which Sibyl the title of the MMP is talking about. Whenever I see that name I think of the Cumaean Sybil. I blame my classical education.
Thank you
I used to have a cat who was the anti-alarm. He would snuggle with me in bed in the morning in an attempt to get me to play hookie from work.
Here in no. Illinois the high is predicted to be 22. Tonight into the single digits, and colder tomorrow. I don’t care, I don’t have to be outside except to get to my car. Doctor’s appointment later today (3 week post-op check up). Is it wrong that I want to set up my Christmas tree???
Is that … is that SNOW on the ground?
squints
Huh. It shore 'nuff 'tis.
I have a breakfast-sandwich-some-assembly-required* and a container with homemade meat loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans packed with me, and I feel like I’m eating an oh-so-balanced diet today. Go me! About to make my first cuppa tea for the morning, and am at work early so I’ve already hit the ground running over here at the orifice. (My New Guy [del]conned[/del] [del]sweet-talked[/del] politely invited me to join him for Monday night Bible study, so’s I gotta leave a bit early. I’ve already been to Sunday services with him twice, which is two more than this atheist has attended since outgrowing being dragged to Mass by Mother Dearest. I must say, Baptist services are a helluva lot more joyful and flat-out enjoyable than the stodgy Polish Catholic Masses I endured – at those, each song sounds like a funeral dirge. Not so with the Baptists!)
Happy Monday to all.
- A roll, a slice of cheese, and some bacon I cooked last night, plus a guacamole snack pack that may be pressed into service, or perhaps eaten separately. I even remembered to bring OJ!
You’re okay, though, right? only the car was damaged, right?
At least you’ve got indisputable evidence for the court case
It’s rainy and dreary and I’m full of blurf.
