The opposite of "Botticelli" what's it called?

There’s a game called “Botticelli” where the player thinks of a famous person, and the other players have to guess who he’s thinking of by asking him questions that can be answered with “yes” or “no.”

But I’ve heard of another game, played at parties, where each person wears the name of his famous person where he cannot see it himself, and the others are supposed to give him clues to his identity by making remarks that would apply to that person. The point of the game is evidently to be the first to figure out who you are.

Is this a real game? And if so, what is it called?

TIA

Who Am I?

The Other Waldo Pepper. But that’s besides the point. The question is “what is the name of that game?”

What is the name of the guy on second.

Can I condemn this man to slavery?

No, but you can go sleep at home tonight if you can get up and walk away.

When I arrived in America … was I displayed in chains?

Thanks much.

A tad anti-climactic, but at least I have my answer.

Round my way it was called “The Rizla Game” because you wrote it on a Rizla and stuck it to your head.

May I assume that a Rizla is basically a Post-it Note?

It’s a cigarette paper.

Isn’t Botticelli an English game? I say so because the first (and only) time I ever heard of it was in the final episode of The Young Ones

The commercialized version would be HEDBANZ. In addition to guessing people there are also place and thing categories.

The first time I ever heard of Botticelli (and only time until I saw it on the SDMB) was in a The Man From U.N.C.L.E novel - possibly THe Monster Wheel Affair, where Solo and Kuryakin are captured and are being held prisoner, and pick up a Botticelli game that they have been playing for years without resolution.

I thought it was kind of a cute scene showing how familiar and comfortable their relationship was, and they were used to being trapped together and played the game to reassure each other of their support.

Surely you don’t think you have that authority?

He does have that authority and don’t call him Shirley.
