I’m very pleased to see Eleanor Daley, a dear friend and mentor listed as an Officer of the Order of Canada. There are a few other colleagues listed, but no one with whom I’ve worked very closely.

Mrs. 74westy worked for Don Kossick her first job out of University. His award might be overshadowed by Eugene Levy, though.
Eugene Levy gets a promotion and once again, I get nothing. I’m moving to another country…
ETA, Allan Gross operated on my mother and his kids and my oldest have been at school together since nursery school.
I have met one appointee, but cannot say I know them well.

Konrad Winrich Graf Finck von Finckenstein, CM KC (born April 4, 1945) is a Canadian public servant who has worked in the areas of trade, commercial, competition and communications law. He was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2022.
Von Finckenstein was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada when he was 17. He received a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) from Carleton University in 1967, and a Bachelor of Laws from Queen's University in 1971.
