Last 3 episodes start Sunday the 23rd. Steven King says they are the best episodes.
I wasn’t sure about the changes to Holly’s character (mostly she’s got a sixth sense she didn’t have in the books )- I thought the Mr. Mercedes series actress had her just right but she’s quickly become my favorite to watch this show.
Still liking this. My wife is completely absorbed, which is saying something for someone who hates horror genre.
I thought last night was just OK. But they are moving to a conclusion so I hope it ends well. Many shows don’t have a good ending but I assume they are going with the book ending.
almost nothing important happened last night. Guess they are saving everything for the final episode next Sunday
Well, one person’s head was exploded by a bullet. But other than that…
I thought the integration of the story involving the caves was quite well done. Not until we saw the price of admission to those caves, would most of us realize that we weren’t watching contemporary events.
Seems like to me they are driving modern cars so I don’t understand that spoiler.
I think he means:
The scenes were the two boys got lost in the caves is in the past. The rest of the story is current day
Yes, I meant the ‘lost in the caves’ scenes.
but they also talked about the kids being lost in the past right?
One more episode, right?
Having read the book, it seems to me that a lot of stuff is going to be packed into that last episode.
or they could leave stuff out if it’s not crucial to the plot
The fade-out with the shooting was well done. That said, I’ve sometimes wanted to speed things up just a little. The mood and cinematography often feels like S1 True Detective, but with less momentum.
Ending was pretty predictable. In case you missed it there is a short scene in the middle of the credits. For anyone who read the book was the ending the same?
meant to add they are already writing a season 2
I haven’t watched the last several episodes, but if the ending didn’t remind you of the ending of The Nightmare Before Christmas, then then changed it.
did not see the nightmare before Christmas so cannot compare. I assume season 2 will be co-written by Stephen King since there is not a book to base it on but King plans to write more books in the series.
Okay, here is the relevant scene.
Nope, nothing like that.
