I’ve only seen a couple of episodes of the P.J.'s, but when I have I’ve always wonder: Why aren’t blacks screaming from the roof tops about this show? It doesn’t seem to flatter them in the least. Remember the show “Good Times”? The black community yelled like crazy over it. Why such silence over the P.J.'s? Or am I missing something?
I think you’re missing something. There was quite an outcry when the show first came on the air. However, now that the show has had an irregular schedule and poor ratings, nobody cares.
The same people who objected to “The PJs” also objected to “The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer (or whatever it was called)”.
