Cessandra:
Sure, no problem. Give me a couple of days to find it (it’s part of a huge roll of other posters and wall hangings) and put it in a suitable mailer, and I’ll have it right out.

did you get my apology email? i didn’t mean to offend… it was a joke! so sorry!
I have a “Disintegration” T-shirt that I used to wear quite frequently.
I heard that he did this because he wanted to explore the misty world between sleep and awake for the purpose of painting inspiration.
Snooooopy…aha. I think you’re right, it makes sense. That’s just one of the wierd little things that I’ve remembered for over two decades.
I had a dali Nightmare once. It involved all those animals with the long legs from “The Temptation of…” (doh, I always forget that one… arrgh!!) and a little cartoon boy chasing me across burning bridges…
sometime I might tell you about the Escher Nightmares…
What a great place. I use to spend summers in St. Pete with family and there wasn’t much to do, so we’d get blasted, go to the Dali and sit in front of the Hallucinogenic Toreador for hours. The painting was huge, trippy and had quite a following.
Even more entertaining than the painting was looking at the security guards face when he’d eye over the crowd sitting on the floor. I’m sure he just couldn’t understand what we all saw in the damn thing.
Colors dude, COLORS!
Looks like the OP already has her print lined up, but as an aside, a good resource for prints is htto://www.allaboutart.com . You can search by artist, title, style and theme, and order decently priced prints, framed and unframed, in various sizes.
Robot Arm, I laffed when I read your post because I had the exact same reaction “damn, it’s tiny!” I think it was no more than 8"x10" – but the painting is in such detail that is can be blown up to those huge posters. He must have used a brush consisting of just a couple sable hairs…
