Who would have thought that hosting a message board on a quantum computer simply to take advantage of a more efficient search algorithm would lead to an interchange of messages across alternate timelines? We still haven’t figured out exactly why this particular board software allows access to any timeline where the same software is being run, but it’s certainly been an eye opener. So for those out there using a version of English similar enough to read this message, tell us a little about history ran in your universe.
Well, in my home timeline, unlike this one here where I now reside, our first military commander during the Revolutionary War was indeed General George Washington. But unlike this timeline he did not go on to be the United States first President. He was shot and killed at the battle of Germantown, in October or 1777, by a Scottish officer, Patrick Ferguson. One of his officer’s “took up the flag” and succeeded him as commander. General Benedict Arnold then went on to be our first President.
