The Phelps clan (and I’d bet a million bucks there’s incest in there) was featured in a documentary I watched last night (about gay bars in small towns in Mississippi). You’d think it’d be entertaining to see such an intense concentration of insanity in a small group, but it’s just depressing.

I think I instant watched that on netflix … if it is all it made me want to do was win a lottery and start a chain of cute little gay bars across the worse areas of the south …

I live in Topeka, and have all my life. I was born just a few months before Fred slunk into town in 1955. He’s been a whack job as long as I can remember, the picketing only started in 1992. Back when Fred lost his law licenses he made his kids sell candy to “support the church”. They couldn’t come home until they’d sold a certain amount. But the candy suppliers cut him off because he wouldn’t pay for the stuff.

I really need to drive by their compound and see if they’ve changed the banner on the side of the church. It usually reads " GodHatesAmerica.com". And there’s a flag pole with the American and Canadian flags. Canadian above the American, and both flying upside down.

I remember you mentioning going to school with his kids.

I also remember this site. After reading this, I have nothing but pity for those kids-they didn’t have a chance in the world.

If I didn’t know any better I’d say that Jack Chick and Westboro were both political strawmans, i.e. the kind of imitations the people on the other side IMAGINE radicals are like. Every day I’m waiting for the breaking story of them admitting it, but no, I still like to imagine it though.

Anyway guys, be careful, God makes people able to do things, terrible things. I mean Elijah and Elisha were like the original super powered tag team duo, I swear those guys could kill Superman by blinking (they could also call down tactical divine bear strikes on annoying kids!). Just picked a country at random and took a look at Sweden. There are pictures of the royal family there, and the text to accompany it parses like it was written by a 12 year old boy.
They look gay and slutty. They must be if they LOOK like it!
