However, the paintings that I and 100s of millions of other human beings distinctly recall detail for detail
In the background of the original Dogs Playing Poker painting you could clearly see young Tom Hanks shoting Greedo first.

This guy a year ago recreated the painting that hundreds of millions of us recall.
Guys, these changes are REAL. I admit I may have been wrong about the Tinkerbell item (thanks to Kenobi 65 for helping me out), but the dogs playing poker, STOUFFER’S brand Stovetop Stuffing, and the dramatic changing of size, shape, and location of countries and continents on our maps is still unexplained and REAL.
(Or NOT real, as you say).
Others have tried pointing this out. I will give it a go.
Human memory isn’t a lossless digital recording. Our memories are reconstructions, based on disparate bits and pieces. What we “clearly remember” includes bits of things we directly witnessed, things we dreamed about, things we fantasized about, things we heard about and imagined witnessing, and narratives that we often subconsciously make up to make those reconstructions seem coherent and sensible. And all of that is on top of the fact that our senses aren’t lossless digital recording devices, either. Our brains are constantly interpolating our expectations into what we’re seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and touching.
Given all of that, how are you so certain that you and others aren’t simply misremembering and misperceiving these “glitches”? Why isn’t it possible that you “remember” Stouffer’s Stove Top Stuffing because the alliteration and the association of the Stouffer brand with low prep foods is tricking your brain into reconstructing that memory? Why does reality being re-written seem more plausible to you?

Do you remember where you first saw the painting of dogs playing poker? Do you remember the context?
Pinterest is like hat.
No, Pintrest is more like vest.
Also, no one has mentioned the link to the Kevin James on Jimmy Fallon interview that I posted before.
Yes, Kevin James is not Albert Einstein, but he, Fallon, and countless other humans recall many of the things I do.
You must be thinking of another universe, as you did not have any commentary on a link to said interview.
Instead of giving me bare links to videos, could you perhaps explain here, in a post, why you think reality shifts are a more plausible explanation for discrepancies between how you remember things and demonstrable facts than well-known and demonstrated aspects of human perception, memory, and cognition?

When I was a young boy growing up, probably from age 8 to 18, I saw those poker dog paintings. When I was 18 to 20 years old, I googled it (this would’ve been back in 2003 to 2005 or so), and learned that it was a series of paintings, not just one, so I’ve known that for almost 20 years.
However, none of the paintings match the memory that so many of us distinctly have, and NO this particular example is not just a False Memory held by millions and millions, all the millions and millions having the exact same detailed memory of something that has now disappeared and was accurately recreated a year ago by the guy in the youtube video I posted.
The Stuffing is so easy to explain. Stouffers sounds like stuffing. Stouffers is also known for prepared meals. So it’s an easy link in the mind.
Honestly, if you asked me “Who makes Stovetop Stuffing?” before today, I would’ve guessed Betty Crocker. Does that mean I’m from ANOTHER universe where that’s a thing?

Where did you see them, and what was the context?
However, the paintings that I and 100s of millions of other human beings distinctly recall detail for detail have been dramatically and completely altered.
Nowhere do you give even a hint of what the changes are and why the variety of paintings and imitations don’t explain that. Nowhere do you give any evidence that 100s let alone 100s of millions remember wrongly.
And how you can possibly put a false memory that merely involves conflating multiple paintings with moving South America and changing the sizes of countries, which would change every particle of history for the last 500 years, and expect us to take anything you say seriously is more astounding than any of your claims. Throwing in the Mandela Effect is magician’s sleight of hand, trying to distract us from the real trick you’re attempting to pull.
I put this in MPSIMS because I was fully aware that this is one of those “Strange yet profound life-changing things that don’t need to start as a debate, merely an opinion of a guy who wants to casually begin a friendly, non-vitriolic convo on the subject.”
My bolding added. Yes, that’s what the mods want, fortunately for you. IMO, that’s the worst design flaw that the Dope has.
What’s Betty Crocker?

Huh. Didn’t that used to be k9BeefRender?
What’s Betty Crocker?
She played the young version of Susan at the end of Big.
I use USPS Informed Delivery, where I receive an email showing the mail pieces I’m supposed to receive that day. Today’s notice has some of the same mail pieces that I received yesterday!
Does that mean that yesterday never happened? Or do I have to pay the cable twice?
Maybe cable doesn’t exist anymore, what with the timelines being altered.
Ah, I really liked Morgan Freeman as the voice of Zoltar in that movie.
@Something , do not make posts with links and nothing else. Relevant links are fine but should be accompanied with your own words to explain what point you are trying to make with them.
Thanks,
