Pink dolphin spotted in Louisiana.
Technically it is an albino (according to the article).
Kind of freaky and cool.
I so thought this was going to be about a sex toy…

Huh. i thought this might have been a newly-discovered species of freshwater dolphin, some of which, like the Amazon and Yangtze dolphins, can be pink without being albino.
Ah well.

I think the dolphin looks cool. More things in the animal world should be bubble gum pink.
I’m wondering if it’s so pink because of sunburn. It has no UV protection to speak of, just like a human albino.
And to think, I thought this was gonna be some wisecrack about a popular beach gift shop.
From what I read* on Pink Dolphins, it is the blood vessel showing pink through the albino skin. In case of cite requests.
