The Plague of the Finger Puppets

Or perhaps Finger Puppets of the Plague?

Back story: I belong to my local Jewish Community Center, although I am not Jewish (they have a great fitness center). I was meandering along when I noticed this charming product in the little gift store and I had to stop in.

Finger puppets, representing the ten plagues. I suppose they were cute in their own little way–each one represented a different plague (blood, lice, boils, etc). None of them looked very happy about being plagues–they all had sort of grim expressions. Lice was kind of gray, with stringy knotted yarn for hair, while Boils was yellow with little circles.

I was trying to envision putting on a play with them. "And here comes Mr. Blood! "
Adorable, really.

You really outta snap these up. You know as soon as they sell out, you’ll want the Plagues for your own fingers. And I’m sure they Make Great Gifts! (Awww, an iPod? I wanted the Plagues!)
