The Poetry of Donald J, Trump -- National Republican Congressional Committee edition

Well, thank you very much.
This is a great room.
And, you know,
We’ve done very well in this room before,
But right now,
We broke every record.

I just heard from Mike Johnson.
He said,
We broke every record, sir.

There is over $35 million.
That’s not bad
For an evening.
For an evening,
That’s not bad.
I wonder if you ever turned the room this way.
You know,
it’s interesting
Because I love real estate.
I love ballrooms.
I have nice ballrooms.
A lot of them.
I wonder if they ever turned it this way instead.
So it might be interesting.

This way,
I’m not talking to a wall.
They think they get a better view,
But actually,
I’m not sure.
But next time,
Maybe we’ll have to worry about that next year
Where we’ll do 45 or 50 million.

Right?

I mean,
A lot of people,
You broke your record attendance and
You broke your money record and
That’s a great tribute
To the Republicans
And the party
And everything it stands for.

It’s wonderful.

And I want to thank
Especially
Speaker Mike Johnson
Because he’s been incredible.
And we have some unbelievable supporters
Of our House Republican majority with us,
As you know.
And with the help of everyone in this room,
The next year’s Republican Party
Is going to defy history.
We’re going to really defy it,
and we already are.

We’re getting things done.
It’s going to be very interesting to see.
It’s going to be a very interesting year.
We have an interesting time.
We’re making a fortune with tariffs,
$2 billion a day.
Do you believe it?
I was told $2 billion a day.
You know,
I get hit by the press about tariffs.
We’re making $2 billion.
This isn’t $35 million.
That’s peanuts.
$2 billion a day.

Roll versus Sanity or permanently lose one Intelligence point.

Did he ever “weave” his way back to something that might kinda sorta make sense if you squint just the right way? Can this be sanewashed in any way?

If anyone else gave a speech this incoherent it would be grounds for a psychological examination and commitment to psych ward.

Est. reading time: 65 minutes

No way I’m spending more than an hour to read the insane ramblings of a damaged mind.

If you read it in Ginsburg’s voice, it becomes better.

Allen, or Ruth Bader?

Allan, sorry. Hes a poet so I figured most here would know.

It’s a joke, son.

As much as I enjoy free-form poetry, I think Mr. Trump should study 16th century metaphysical poets, so he can pack in more information in less lines. And not sound like an unhinged lunatic.

I mean, John Donne could pack multiple concepts into sonnet style, whereas Trump could not recognise a metaphor if it hit him with a simile and a very big stick.

He does, however, put the “ass” in assonance.
