The politics thread

I did not attack another poster.
A link Was provided.

Can you link to it?

No. Staying out of that.

I provided the link (probably in part explaining why I wasn’t the recipient of a warning).

Exactly. You did not post a link in that thread. I asked you for one once or twice and eventually someone else did it for you.

It wouldn’t let me copy it.

A link was provided, but not by you.

You have a track record of making unsupported assertions in P&E. In general, we expect posters to be able to support what they assert with some kind of link to show where the information came from, so other posters can determine for themselves if the information is credible or just Shit You Want to Say or Think.

You’ve been mod-noted about this several times and you have received guidance in PMs as well. You need to either be able to support the things you say or stay out of P&E threads.

I mean link to the post where you claimed to have provided the link. Link to the post, take a screenshot, tell me the post number…something to back up what you’re claiming. But, as usual, you refuse to do that for…reasons.

In any case, you didn’t provide a link in that thread. I’m not sure why you’d claim otherwise.

My experience was materially different.

This is a classic example of why we’re running out of patience with you.

Your title is nearly empty of value. You couldn’t even include a link to the thread or type something like The Trump shooting thread?

FYI, it looks like this was the comment where you crossed that line:

I think that is attacking the poster.

It’s also just kind of a bad faith technique/Straw Man Argument, trying to ‘bolster your argument’ by putting words into another’s mouth – arguing against something that the other person simply didn’t say, or a position they simply don’t hold.
