What is a typical day in the life of the President like?

I’ll pause while everyone who is politically left-of-center does a couple of jokes.

Okay…now…seriously.

I’ve always thought a typical day is a bunch of meetings/briefings - 60 minutes or so for more important matters and 10-15 minutes for less important matters.

And on some days he has a personal appearance/speech or two.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I don’t know about the President, but P.J. O’Rourke did an excellent piece one time about a day in the life of a U.S. Senator (or maybe it was a Rep. I don’t remember.) He basically followed the politico around all day as long as he was able. He eventually went home worn out, but the official was still going strong. It was amusing reading.
