What are your thoughts?

They’re definitely changing a lot from the original. The setting is in America in the middle of the desert. Jim Cazaviel looks like a completely different Number 6 than Patrick McGoohan was, more of an American action hero than a British spy. The trailer includes the famous “I’m not a number, I’m a free man” line, but I don’t like the way he says it.

Even though it’s not a faithful looking remake, maybe it’ll be good in its own right. Anyone think there’s a good chance of that? I’m personally not optimistic.

I’ve got high hopes because I won’t be affected by the nostalgia filter.

I actually got a woody when I first saw the trailer. It’s got Ian Mckellen AND it’s a MINI-series there’s no way they won’t have time to screw it up.
