And by the way genius, define “joke thread” in a way that doesn’t preclude the use of humor, irony or intentional incongruity in the OP. It’s been almost 18 hours since Twin purportedly reported this thread. It still seems to be open, and I’ve noticed no moderator action. I won’t draw any conclusions from that lack of commentary, but it sure doesn’t indicate much concern on the part of the board authorities.
(Personally, I think any non-debate OP from Stoid with any kind of political opinion in it -admittedly, a high percentage of her OP’s- will become a right-wing idiot magnet, and end up in the Pit eventually.)

I have read the thread and IMHO the original poster is sincerely “pitting” the US president even though the pretext may seem flimsy.
Speaking as a regular poster, I would suggest that, as Galanthus has said, the reactions of the dog should be attributed to the body language of the owner and not to any innate psychic ability of this clever canine companion.
