The real reason why Hillary lost

This seems unlikely

Would you be happier with an “almost” in there? Would it make the point any different?

Or “virtually”? I think that anything over 95% is sufficiently close to “all” that I feel quite comfortable using the phrase and that a single counterexample would not negate the point.

Pshaw! Conveniently ignoring that all the reverse racists voted for Hillary!

And it’s all the Democrats who keep talking about how racism still exists and we need to fix it who are *really *stirring up racial tension. They’re the true racists.

At least that’s how I think the story goes.

I don’t always agree with Michael Moore, but he proved to be about as accurate an oracle as any prominent figure I can recall. And I remember reading his articles, his interviews, and excerpts from his Trumpland documentary in which he predicted a Trump victory, and explained why.

My synopsis is, the country was fed up with the system and wanted to send a message. Donald Trump was listening to that message (or maybe he wasn’t and he was just a broken clock that happened to be right twice a day). But his message resonated with voters, and Hillary Clinton and her campaign were completely out of it.

That doesn’t excuse people who should have known better either voting for Trump or not voting for Hillary, but it at least explains those who were angry and wanted to shock the system, or otherwise just see what life would be like living with a reality TV president.

I don’t think Hillary Clinton was a bad candidate, but she was definitely a shitty campaigner. But worse for her, she was a shitty campaigner at a really shitty time in our nation’s political history.
