Fuck Hillary Clinton!

Still trying to blame anyone but herself for losing to Trump. If only Bernie had endorsed her a month sooner, she would have won.
Shut the fuck up and go away!

Wow. What a slam.

I didn’t listen to the interview, only read the article you linked, but that doesn’t sound like quite a fair summary of what she said:

Wow. Screw her. Sanders might have lost to her if she was playing fair, but then again, he might not have. Now she whines about it and tries to torpedo his campaign? No wonder – she’s there for the plutocrats, not for us. And Sanders is the only one who seems serious about going after them, so no wonder she’s against him.

Clinton is an example of the left trying to beat the right at their own game. Not only is that a losing proposition – even if she wins, it’s only the lesser of two evils. The Democratic party can’t make the mistake of nominating someone like her again, or Trump will win a second term.

Good on her, I say.

I agree: once is enough.

Bernie made his point. The problem is, nobody wants Medicare for All. An arbitrarily selected minimum wage of $15 per hour for every employee in every business is unworkable and bad for business. And he’s suggesting tax hikes that everyone in their sane mind knows have no chance of passing. He’s a good senator, a pretty good grassroots organizer, and a great gadfly. But he’d be a shitty president and he needs to stop deluding his cult into believing that he’s a real democrat and that he has a chance of doing anything other than disrupting politics and getting Trump re-elected.

<sniffle>

Check the vote totals again, bruh. It’s an election not a boxing contest; she won with votes not by paying off the ringside judges.

Two years and three months ago: In Her New Book ‘What Happened’, Hillary Clinton Blames Many for Defeat. Including Herself.

Slow news day, Chris?

I agree. Three years later and Bernie Bros still can’t admit they lost the vote.

Oh, please. It’s not about there being superdelegates to ensure she would win anyways; it’s about everyone knowing she would win before going into the vote. There’s a reason Bernie was her only serious opponent. No one wanted to derail the coronation.

Don’t get me wrong, I still voted for her, and in a bizarro world where she’s the nominee in 2020 I would vote for her again, because she’s a million times better than Trump. But whining about how Sanders didn’t bend over quickly enough when she and the democratic establishment decided to fuck him is really bad form.

Cute. Not a Bernie Bro, by the way. But whatever floats your boat.

No, Thank you.

“In my more introspective moments, I do recognize that my campaign in 2016 lacked the sense of urgency and passion that I remember from (Bill Clinton’s 1992 campaign).”

That’s about it.

Anyway, I used to really like Hillary. Her work on health care in the 90s was exceptional. I don’t remember the details and don’t know if her plan would have worked better than the ACA, but it was a helluva an effort. And I initially supported her in 2008. I moved to Obama partially because not only did Hillary vote for the Iraq war, but refused to admit it was a mistke, but more so because I thought Obama would be more progressive.

We can’t know for sure what her effect on the next election will be, once we have a nominee and assuming she is actively involved in the campaign. It looks like she will be. I don’t think she is going to help at all. She was a failed candidate, twice. Can’t find any stats on her favorability rating now, though, maybe it has gone up, but she still is going to have the negatives she had last time. What could she possibly add to the campaign?

Why’d you leave off the beginning of that paragraph?

(Didn’t read the whole thread.)

She DID win.

She did not win the election. The rules of the election are unfair, granted, but we all knew that going in.

Bernie and his Bernie bros did fuck her over. He did “slow roll” his half hearted endorsement, and his bros did by and large either throw their votes away or not vote at all.

If Bernie wins the Dem nomination, I will vote for him, because it’s him or Trump. But at this point, that is the ONLY reason.

This.

And apparently, they can’t wait to GIVE it away to the Russian Asset one more time.

Gee, I wonder why Bernie supporters might not feel welcome in the democratic party?

Also – he’s not a “real democrat”, but since when do Democrats put party before country? You’re stepping on Republican toes again.
