I don’t like FPS shooters much. I think they’re enormous fun multiplayer, but by myself? Nah. I like swrod-and-sorcery stuff best, anyway - if it’s got guns it’s automatically down a point. That’s not to say I don’t like games with guns (witness KOTOR which was an awesome game on the PC) but I do tend to put them second).
Thank you all for the imput… I do have the later Soul Calibers on PS2, but I like the genre so much I may still get the older. Besides, I was fiddling around looking at prices last night, and GC games run around $10. Pretty good.
Sometimes I like having older consoles…I have been picking up pretty good PS2 games for between $15 and $20.
