There is literally nothing someone could do to lower the classiness of this convention. It’s seemingly designed for pointing and laughing, with a little bit of condemnation mixed in. Let’s not pretend these are reasonable people doing acceptable things.
Exactly! Trump has been a model of class and decorum throughout this campaign. He deserves the same respect he’s shown for other candidates!

Pence is smooth but dull. I am feeling sleepy watching him. I guess Trump has enough controversy in his organization.

- Ted Cruz goes rogue and does not endorse Trump.

Well, I don’t think she’s a secret Nazi, but for a heartbeat or two that arm was stiff (no bending at the elbow) and the hand wasn’t moving–it didn’t look like a wave, or that she was pointing/acknowleging somebody…it looked just like a Nazi salute.
It is a puzzlement.

Perhaps she was simply pantomiming the second tone in the five tone greeting for the aliens in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Hey, it is no more ridiculous than any of the excuses I expect to hear about it tomorrow.
Or you know, the attacks on his wife, the accusations against his dad…the fact that he didn’t literally flip Trump off shows a lot of restraint in my opinion.
Looking at Pence, he meets two critical standards. The aforementioned lack of charisma, and he’s much shorter than Trump.
She was waving at the crowd but she held the classic pose just too long to explain away.
Bend the elbow, keep the hand moving at the wrist. That’s how you greet a crowd.
