Not only that , Ivanka tweeted a sales pitch about it. The entire family is just a bunch of slick salespeople. Her clothing line, including the exact dress she wore last night, all made in China.

Those shoes are completely different. The Trump one has a totally different strap patterm.:rolleyes: Besides, nobody will be able to afford the Trump ones when her father is President and she has to pay the 30% tax for making them in China.
It’s the fact that her upper body is draped between his thighs, and that her midriff is bare, and that he seems to be holding her hand against her boob. It strikes me as an inappropriate pose between a father and his grown daughter. <shrug> JMHO.

He didn’t grab her ass, he patted the side of her hips. From the video taken side on it looked to me like he was reassuring her about something to do with her dress, like maybe she’d expressed concern that the dress made her hips look too wide or something. His expression seemed to convey also that he was reassuring her while at the same time congratulating her. There was nothing sexual about it at all.
An interesting article, but I’m not sure I buy into everything it reported or the conclusions it drew. Trump put up buildings in New York city for decades before he began licensing his name. How did he manage to do that if he made a practice of stiffing all his contractors? And while I haven’t dug into it to find out for sure, I believe he’s still putting up buildings and creating resorts and things to this day.
It strikes me as entirely possible that contractors did sometimes try to rip him off and that what you’re hearing are sour grapes from contractors who tried cutting corners or perhaps overcharging for their work. I would imagine also that New York City building contractors are a petty rough bunch and not all that inclined to give up hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars just because legal fees would eat up most of what was being contested. I’d think they’d rather see the money go to lawyers rather than to let Trump beat them out of it like that. And not only that, but I’d expect Trump to have wound up with broken legs (if not worse) at some point had he been routinely ripping off his contractors like the article contends he had. I’m sure he has security but I doubt he always did during the time he was coming up, and I’d imagine even now he goes out on his own from time to time. I’d think it would be a very worrisome existence for anyone trying to rip off New York City contractors for such large sums of money.
So bottom line? I’m somewhat concerned but remain unconvinced.
When you’re accused one or a few times, it’s possibly false. When you’re Bill Cosbyed literally thousands of times, it’s vanishingly unlikely that you’re not a slimeball operator.
Oh come on, just be honest and admit you’re going to support Trump even if he’s found guilty of child rape. As I posted before there are 100s of court records available, they’re public record, multiple media agencies have gone through them and come to the same conclusion.

Here, you and I pretty much agree. I don’t think it was overtly, deliberately sexual, but I can also see how others could interpret it differently.
I tend to agree that it is not sexual, but it is incredibly awkward. It makes for, like his air kiss of Pence, a weird slightly icky feeling visual. It truly is like he didn’t know what to do with his hands upon greeting her. If you asked me to hold a baby alligator, I would react this way, not knowing where to put my hands.
A father greeting his daughter should know what to do. Hug her and then step back. Easy.
Starving Artist’s “she needed reassuring about her dress” does not jive at all with the confidence Ivanka has displayed in public settings.
Just admit Trump is a bit of lummox sometimes. For all his bluster, he is socially an odd duck.

Sorry, but grabbing a woman’s hips is clearly a sexual action. That’s how you touch your lover, not your daughter. Now, he may be too stupid to understand that, but it doesn’t make it any less squicky.
I don’t know. I pat my daughter on the butt all the time. I also like to stroke her hair. Sometimes she climbs into bed with me and I grab her leg, or nibble her toes. She loves it.
But her favorite thing is when I lift her over my head and then make pbbbbbbt sounds on her little tummy. She giggles and giggles and gives me the best hugs! And then she says in her little voice, “Again Daddy!” She’s just the cutest little girl ever.
Sorry. Anyway, Trump is a thoroughly creepy guy who’s said really weird things about his daughter. I didn’t see it has an attempted ass-grab, but whatever it was, it’s not the way parents usually touch their adult children. If my mom patted me on the hip like that, I’d think “the fuck?” It would just be kind of a weird thing to do.
